The web site uses a powerful search feature to help users find highly rated agents in their area and read reviews about them.

The web site also makes it possible for users to upload and submit information on agents they feel strongly about, and for agents to submit information about themselves. Know Your Agent lists mainly house insurance, business insurance, life insurance, and car insurance agencies.

Users can also avail of a learning center on the web site, which directs them to pages of articles that answer key questions on policies, and on various types of insurance.

“We believe choosing the right insurance agent is much more important than which insurance company you choose,” says White. “The reason is simple. If you find a good, quality agent, they are going to do their best to take care of you, no matter what company they are associated with.”
